Conditions:

Room Temp: 25.0 - 45.06 °C

Compiler:

Methodology:

Equilibrium experiments were carried out in a constant temperature water bath using a stirrer. An equilibration period of at least five days was allowed. The total water content in the organic phase was determined by a Karl Fischer titration. Each reported water solubility was obtained as an average of at least two independent determinations.

Sample Information:
  1. Distilled.
  2. Reagent grade, washed with conc. $\ce{H2SO4}$ and with 1 M $\ce{NaHCO3}$ and then fractionally distilled over silica gel.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±0.1 K.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): ±2%.

System Components:
  1. Chlorobenzene, $\ce{ C6H5C1 }$; [108-90-7] NIST WebBook
  2. Water, $\ce{ H2O }$; [7732-18-5] NIST WebBook
