Version History
Web Version 2.0 IUPAC-NIST Solubility Data Series Database
Version 2.0 is a complete rewrite of the software of version 1.0 and includes a REST API for access to documents and data. This work follows the development of a prototype REST website (see https://doi.org/10.1515/pac-2015-0403) by Dr. Stuart Chalk at the University of North Florida. Code for this version of the SDS website is available on GitHub. Release date: June 2019
Web Version 1.1 IUPAC-NIST Solubility Data Series Database
Version 1.1 of the database includes the version 1.0 of database plus IUPAC Series PDF files
from volume 1 to 102.
Release date: February, 2015
Updated: January, 2008
Implemented a software upgrade.
Updated: March, 2006
Update includes measurements from three additional volumes: Volume 57. Ethene; 62. Carbon Dioxide in Water and Aqueous Electrolyte Solutions; 70. Gases in Glassy Polymers. With this update, the database now contains over 67,500 solubility measurements. There are about 1,800 chemical substances in the database and 5,200 systems, with 473 of these critically evaluated. The database has over 1800 references.
Updated: August, 2004
Update includes measurements from two additional volumes: Volume 66. Ammonium Phosphates Volume 73. and Metal and Ammonium Formate Systems. With this update, the database now contains over 55,000 solubility measurements. There are about 1,300 chemical substances in the database and 4,850 systems, with 448 of these critically evaluated. The database has over 1300 references.
Updated: April, 2004
Update includes measurements from two additional volumes: Volume 72. Nitromethane with Water of Organic Solvents: Ternary and Quaternary Systems and Volume 78. Acetonitrile Binary Systems. With this update, the database now contains over 44,000 solubility measurements. There are about 1,200 chemical substances in the database and 4,400 systems, with 386 of these critically evaluated. The database has over 1000 references.
Web Version 1.0 IUPAC-NIST Solubility Data Series Database
Version 1.0 of the database includes over 29,000 solubility measurements,
compiled from 11 volumes (Volumes 20, 37, 38, 58, 59, 60, 67, 68, 69, 71, 77) of the IUPAC Solubility
Data Series. There are about 1028 chemical substances in the database and 3,619 systems, with 338 of
these critically evaluated. The database has over 800
