Volume 37. Hydrocarbons in Water and Seawater, Part I, p 88

Source Publication

Clifford, C. W.; Ind. Eng. Chem. 1921, 13, 631-32.

Conditions:

Room Temp: 21 - 55 °C

Compilers:

Z. Maczynska, A. Maczynski

Methodology:

A current of air predried by calcium chloride was passed through a sample. The moisture abstracted from the sample by this air was absorbed in calcium chloride tubes. The amount of water was calculated from the weights of these tubes. This method is described in [1].

Sample Information:
  1. source not specified; 100 percent benzene; dehydrated with metallic sodium; purity not specified.
  2. not specified.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: Not specified.
