Conditions:

Room Temp: 283 - 333 $\pu{K}$

Compiler:

V.P. Sazonov

Methodology:

The analytical method was used. (1) and (2) were placed in a vessel without contact to atmospheric moisture. With continuous stirring equilibrium was established in 6-7 hours. Salt content in saturated solutions determined by gravimetrically.

Sample Information:
  1. Source not specified; pure grade reagent; dried and purified.
  2. Source not specified; very pure reagent; dried in vacuum.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±0.1 K.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): relative error ±0.1%.

System Components:
  1. Acetonitrile, $\ce{ C2H3N }$; [75-05-8] NIST WebBook
  2. Potassium iodide, $\ce{ KI }$; [7681-11-0] NIST WebBook
