Original Measurements
Smagowski, H.; Zesz. Nauk. Wydz. Mat., Fiz. Chem., Univ. Gdanski, Chem. 3, 45-53 (1974).
Variables:
Room Temp: 273 - 308 $\pu{K}$

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
The titration method was used: 25 mL of [1] and an amount of (2) exceeding the solubility were placed in 50 mL volumetric flasks. The flasks were closed by ground glass stoppers and stored at the required temperature in a thermostat for 45 hours, with intensive stirring every several hours. After this, 5 mL samples of the saturated solution were taken by pipette, diluted to 25 mL with water and titrated against 0.1 N sodium hydroxide solutions by using phenolphthalein indicator.
Source and Purity of Materials:
- Source not specified; purity not specified; dried over anhydrous $\ce{K2CO3}$ and repeatedly distilled over $\ce{P2O5}$.
- Source not specified; purity not specified; purified by crystallization from water.
Estimated Errors:
Ambient temperature: Not reported.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): Not reported.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.0 | 273.2 | 5 x 10-3 | 1.3 x 10-3 | 2.6 x 10-4 |
| 15.0 | 288.2 | 9 x 10-3 | 2.3 x 10-3 | 4.7 x 10-4 |
| 25.0 | 298.2 | 0.013 | 3.4 x 10-3 | 6.9 x 10-4 |
| 35.0 | 308.2 | 0.027 | 7.1 x 10-3 | 1.45 x 10-3 |
(a) For these calculations the compiler assumed that the densities of the solutions were those of acetonitrile1 at the specified temperatures.
