Original Measurements

Zhuravleva, I. K.; Zhuravlev, E. F.; Salamatin, L. N.; Zh. Obshch. Khim. 46, 1210-4 (1976).

Variables:

Room Temp: 286 - 472 $\pu{K}$

Prepared by:

N.V. Sazonov, V.P. Sazonov

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

Two methods were used. The solubility temperatures are determined by the synthetic method [1]. The analytical method was used for determining of equilibrium liquid phase composition. Samples from coexisting liquid phases at equilibrium were analyzed by refractometry. No experimental details given.

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Source not specified; purity not specified; BP = 114.0°C, $n_{D}^{20}$ = 1.3905, $d_{4}^{20}$ = 1.0525.
  2. Source not specified, purity not specified; BP = 225°C, MP = 22.6°C, $n_{D}^{24}$ = 1.4420, $d_{4}^{24}$ = 0.8310.
  3. Twice distilled; $n_{D}^{20}$ = 1.333.
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: Not specified.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): Not specified.

Experimental Data

The solubility temperatures were determined in ternary mixtures with a constant mass content of (3), respectively 20, 30, 40, 45 and 50 mass % and in ternary mixtures with constant mass relationship of (1) and (2) as 10:90, 20:80, 30:70, 40:60, 50:50, 60:40, 70:30, 80:20 and 90:10 respectively. These data are also presented in graphical form (see Tables 1-5).
