Volume 73. Metal and Ammonium Formate Systems, p None

Original Measurements

Itkina, L. S.; Portnova, S. M.; Zh. Neorg. Khim. 25, 1109 (1980).

Variables:

Composition and temperature

Prepared by:

St. Trendafilova, Chr. Balarew

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

The isothermal method was used. Three weeks were allowed for equilibration. The lithium content of both phases was determined by flame photometry in the presence of $\pu{0.1 M} \ce{Al(NO3)3}$ [1]. $\ce{Ca^{2+}}$ was determined complexometrically. The composition of the solid phases was determined by Schreinemakers' method and controlled crystallo-optically.

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. The formates were prepared by neutralization of formic acid with the corresponding oxides, hydroxides or carbonates.
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: No information is given.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): No information is given.
