Volume 73. Metal and Ammonium Formate Systems, p None

Original Measurements

Portnova, S. M.; Petrova, E. V.; Russ. J. Inorg. Chem. 30, 1045-8 (1985).

Variables:

Room Temp: Composition at 50 °C

Prepared by:

St. Trendafilova, Chr. Balarew

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

The isothermal method was used. Two weeks were allowed for equilibration. The potassium and lithium content of both phases was determined by flame photometry using a Carl Zeiss photometer [1]. The potassium content of the solid phase was also determined by the tetraphenylborate method in an acetic acid medium [2].

Source and Purity of Materials:
    Estimated Errors:

Mass concentration (m/v) (1): The analytical error is ±5%.
