Conditions:
Room Temp: Composition at 50 °C
Compiler:
Methodology:
The isothermal method was used. Equilibrium was attained in two weeks. The yttrium content was determined by titration with Complexone III. The composition of the solid phases was determined by X-ray diffraction, by thermogravimetry and by IR spectroscopy [1].
Sample Information:
- The yttrium formate dihydrate was prepared by the reaction of $\ce{Y2O3}$ with dilute A.R. grade formic acid [1].
Measurement Errors:
Ambient temperature: The temperature was controlled to within ±0.1°C.2
