Volume 73. Metal and Ammonium Formate Systems, p None

Original Measurements

Tsindrik, N. M.; Zh. Obshch. Khim. 28, 830-4 (1958).

Variables:

Prepared by:

G. D'Andrea

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

A visual polythermal method was used. The salts were melted in a test tube and hand stirred. The temperatures were measured with a Nichrome-Constantan thermocouple.

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Analytical grade materials were recrystallized twice. Component (1) undergoes a solid state transition at 242°C [1]. Component (2) undergoes a solid state transition at 275°C.
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: The compiler estimates the accuracy of the temperature measurements to be probably ±2 K.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): No information is given.
