Volume 73. Metal and Ammonium Formate Systems, p None

Source Publication

Pochtakova, E. I.; Zh. Obshch. Khim. 44, 241-8 (1974).

Conditions:

Compiler:

P. Baldini

Methodology:

A visual polythermal method was used. This was supplemented with differential thermal analysis but no numerical DTA data are tabulated.

Sample Information:
  1. The materials were prepared by reacting C.P. carbonates with a slight excess of formic acid [1].
    Component (1) undergoes phase transitions at 60, 135 and 157°C [2].
Component (2) undergoes a phase transition at 140°C.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: The compiler estimates the accuracy of the temperature measurements to be probably ±2 K.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): No information is given.

Experimental Data

Note: The system was investigated at 0 ≤ 100 x2 ≤ 25 due to thermal instability of component 2. No characteristic point was observed in the composition range mentioned.
