Volume 73. Metal and Ammonium Formate Systems, p None

Source Publication

Tsindrik, N. M.; Zh. Obshch. Khim. 28, 830-4 (1958).

Conditions:

Compiler:

P. Baldini

Methodology:

A visual polythermal method was used. The temperatures were measured with a Nichrome-Constantan thermocouple.

Sample Information:
  1. Analytical grade materials were recrystallized twice. The extrapolated fusion temperature of the lithium formate was 273°C.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: The compiler estimates the accuracy of the temperature measurement to be probably ±0.2 K.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): No information is given.

  2. Sodium formate, $\ce{ NaCHO2 }$; [141-53-7] NIST WebBook
Experimental Data

Note 1: There is a minimum at 170°C and 100 x2 = 50.
Note 2: The system was investigated at 0 ≤ 100 x1 ≤ 80.
