Volume 73. Metal and Ammonium Formate Systems, p None

Original Measurements

Portnova, S. M.; Lyashchenko, A. K.; Zh. Neorg. Khim. 27, 2953-8 (1982).

Variables:

Composition and temperature

Prepared by:

St. Trendafilova, Chr. Balarew

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

The isothermal method was used. The lanthanum content of the solid and liquid phases was determined complexometrically using Complexon III and Methylthymol Blue as indicator. The nitrogen content of the liquid phase was determined iodometrically. The nitrogen content of the solid phases was determined by the Dumas method.

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Lanthanum formate was obtained by reaction of lanthanum oxide with formic acid.
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: No information is given.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): No information is given
