Volume 73. Metal and Ammonium Formate Systems, p None

Source Publication

Calame, P.; Z. Phys. Chem. 27U, 401 (1898).

Conditions:

Room Temp: -2.015 - -0.286 °C

Compiler:

Chr. Balarew

Methodology:

Freezing point determinations were made with a Beckmann apparatus having a thermometer graduated in 0.01 °C. The magnesium content was determined gravimetrically.

Sample Information:
  1. Kahlbaum or Merck reagents were used.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±0.01°C.

System Components:
  1. Magnesium formate, $\ce{ Mg(CHO2)2 }$; [557-39-1] NIST WebBook
  2. Water, $\ce{ H2O }$; [7732-18-5] NIST WebBook
