Volume 72. Nitromethane with Water or Organic Solvents: Ternary and Quaternary Systems, p 1468

Source Publication

Schuberth, H.; Kranke, P.; Z. Phys. Chem. 245O, 49-67 (1970).

Conditions:

Room Temp: 293 and 323 $\pu{K}$

Compiler:

V.P. Sazonov

Methodology:

The analytical method was used. Mixtures of (1), (2) and (3) were stirred at a given temperature for a time interval sufficient to achieve equilibrium between liquid phases. After this, the samples of the separate phases were selected for chromatographic analysis. Injections were made with a syringe kept at the corresponding temperature.

Sample Information:
  1. Source not specified, distilled; BP = 100.9°C; $n_{D}^{20}$ = 1.3819; $\rho^{20} = \pu{1138.0 g L-1}$.
  2. Source not specified, distilled; BP = 120.6°C; $n_{D}^{20}$ = 1.5055; $\rho^{20} = \pu{1622.9 g L-1}$.
  3. Distilled.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: Not reported.
