Nitromethane with Heptane

Components:

(1) Nitromethane, $\ce{ CH3NO2 }$; [75-52-5] NIST WebBook
(2) Heptane, $\ce{ C7H16 }$; [142-82-5] NIST WebBook

Experimental Values:

The solubility of nitromethane in heptane at 20.5°C (293.7 K, compiler) was reported to be 100 w1 = 6.2. The corresponding mole fraction, x1, calculated by the compiler is 0.098.
The solubility of heptane in nitromethane at 20.5°C (293.7 K, compiler) was reported to be 100 w2 = 4.3. The corresponding mole fraction, x2, calculated by the compiler is 0.027.
