Sorption isotherms were measured gravimetrically with a Calm model 2000 electrobalance. A correction for the buoyancy was introduced.

   PVB: reaction of poly(vinyl alcohol) and benzoyl chloride (see Ref. 1). Density (298 K)=1.214 g/cm³.
