Conditions:

Room Temp: 308 $\pu{K}$
Pressure: 0 - 3 $\pu{MPa}$

Compiler:

Yu.P. Yampol'skii

Methodology:

Two methods of conditioning were studied. Conventionally conditioned isotherm were obtained with the samples which had been previously in contact with $\ce{CO2}$ gas under pressure of 6.2 MPa for 2—3 h with consequent pumping for two days. Exchange conditioning involves exposing samples to $\ce{CO2}$ gas and then sweeping it with a methane flux. For exchange conditioning runs a gravimetric technique was used. In two other types of experiments a pressure decay method was applied [1].

Sample Information:
  1. $\ce{CH4}$: purity >99.99%. TMHFPC: synthesized, $\rho = \pu{1.200 g mL-1}$, $T_{\rm{g}}$ = 481 K.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: No information given.
