Conditions:

Room Temp: 298 $\pu{K}$

Compiler:

A.L. Horvath

Methodology:

A saturated aqueous solution was prepared by passing of water through a column which was packed with glass beads coated with 1-chlorobutane. The saturated solution was then pumped through an extractor column and 1- chlorobutane was extracted directly into an analytical column. The samples were analyzed with a liquid chromatograph equipped with both an UV absorbance and a fluorescence detector with excitation filters. The peak area was established using a Hewlett-Packard recorder.

Sample Information:
  1. Eastman Kodak Company, commercial quality, used as received.
  2. Double distilled.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±1 K (compiler).
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): Not specified.
