The titration method as described elsewhere [1] was used. Solubility data for the ternary system of water-methanol-2,3-dichloro-1,3-butadiene were also reported.

1. Synthesis was described elsewhere [2]. $n_{D}^{20}$ = 1.4887, $d_{4}^{20} = \pu{1.1838 g mL-1}$.
2. Distilled.
