Original Measurements

Duncan, W. A. M.; in 'Uptake and Distribution of Anesthetic Agents' edited by Papper, E. M.; Kitz, R. J. (McGraw-Hill, New York, 1963), pp. 17-9.

Variables:

Room Temp: 283 - 310 $\pu{K}$

Prepared by:

A.L. Horvath

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

2-Bromo-2-chloro-1,1,1-trifluoroethane was added to a measured volume of water in a flask of known volume. The flask was sealed and the contents allowed to equilibrate at the desired temperature. After equilibration, a sample of the liquid phase was withdrawn for analysis using the Burns and Snow modification method for halothane.

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Source and purity not given.
  2. Distilled (compiler).
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±0.5 K (compiler).
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): Not specified.
