Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

A calibrated bottle was filled with nitrogen, a measured quantity of water and the organic vapor. After mixing and equilibration, the concentration of the vapor and the liquid phases were determined by injection of the head space samples into a gas chromatograph. The 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane was detected by means of a tritium foil electron capture detector.
