Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

A titration was performed in an Erlenmeyer flask by adding 1,2-dichloroethane to water until a permanent turbidity was observed. The flask was immersed in a waterbath thermostat while maintaining a constant agitation using a magnetic stirrer.

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Probus Chemicals, laboratory grade reagent, further purified by distillation; middle fraction was used.
  2. Distilled.
