Conditions:

Room Temp: 298 $\pu{K}$

Compiler:

A.L. Horvath

Methodology:

An excess quantity of pentachloroethane was added to water and stirred vigorously for 24 hours. After the sample was allowed to settle at 25 °C for 48 hours, the solution was extracted with cyclohexane. The samples were analyzed by an Aminco-Bowman spectrophotofluorometer. A detailed description of the method has been reported elsewhere [1].

Sample Information:
  1. Aldrich Chemicals, highest grade, used as received.
  2. Double distilled.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±0.2 K (compiler).
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): Not specified.
