Conditions:

Room Temp: 298 $\pu{K}$

Compiler:

A.L. Horvath

Methodology:

A saturated aqueous solution was prepared by passing of water through a column which was packed with glass beads coated with trichloroethene. The saturated solution was then pumped through an extractor column and trichloroethene was extracted directly into an analytical column. The samples were analyzed with a liquid chromatograph equipped with both an UV absorbance and a fluorescence detector with excitation filters. The peak area was established using a Hewlett-Packard recorder.
