Volume 66. Ammonium Phosphates, p 1312

Original Measurements

Akiyama, T.; Kanzaki, H.; Minagawa, S.; Nippon Dojo Hiryogaku Zasshi 49, 243 (1978).

Variables:

Room Temp: 273, 298 and 323 $\pu{K}$

Prepared by:

H. Miyamoto

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

The $\ce{NH4H2PO4}$ or $\ce{(NH4)2HPO4)$ was added to water in a glass-stoppered bottle and heated on a water bath at 90 °C. The mixture was then allowed to settle at a given temperature for seven days. Total nitrogen content in the saturated solutions was determined by chemical analysis. The phosphate content was determined as $\ce{P2O5}$.

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Chemically pure ammonium salts were used.
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: Nothing is specified.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): Nothing is specified.

Components:
  1. Ammonium dihydrogenphosphate, $\ce{ NH4H2PO4 }$; [7722-76-1] NIST WebBook
  2. Water, $\ce{ H2O }$; [7732-18-5] NIST WebBook
Experimental Data
