Method/Apparatus/Procedure:
An isothermal method [1] was used. The mixtures were prepared from finely powdered salts. The system was equilibrated for three days although two days proved to be sufficient. The phosphorus content of the saturated solutions was determined gravimetrically as $\ce{NH4MgPO4}$. The ammonium content was determined by the distillation method and total nitrogen content was determined using Devarda's alloy. The vapor pressure was measured by the technique described elsewhere [1].
Source and Purity of Materials:
- Reagent grade salts were recrystallized three times and dried at approximately 100°C.
Estimated Errors:
Ambient temperature: No information is given.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): No information is given.
