Variables:

Temperature and composition at the mole ratio of N/P2O5 = 1.

Prepared by:

J. Eysseltová

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

A visual polythermic method was used. The density was measured by the use of a self-constructed pycnometer. Viscosity was measured with a standard capillary VPZH-2 viscometer (solutions more dilute than 50 %) or a viscometer according to Golubev [1].

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Chemically pure salts and distilled water were used.
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: Precision of temperature of disappearance of last crystal was ±0.1 K; of density was ±0.310 g/cm3; of viscosity was ±2% (concn< 50%) and ±7% (more concd solns).
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): No information is given.
