Conditions:

Room Temp: 298.15 $\pu{K}$
Pressure: 101.325 $\pu{kPa}$
Amount concentration (2): C2/mol dm-3 = 1.482 g/L

Compiler:

P. Scharlin

Methodology:

Solution was made up by weight. Concentration of solution was verified by measuring the density. (Density was not reported in the paper.) A measured volume of gas was brought into contact with a measured quantity of gas-free solvent. Equilibrium was established by agitation using a magnetic stirrer. The volume of remaining gas was measured. The amount of gas absorbed was estimated from change in volume of gas. Details in original paper.

Sample Information:
  1. From commercial cylinder. Purity 99.8%.
  2. Analytical grade.
  3. Distilled and degassed.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: δT/K = ±0.2
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): δα = ±2%
