Methodology:

Static-state method. The authors designed a solubility apparatus which is composed of three isothermal pre-saturators, saturator and sampler. A schematic diagram of the apparatus is in the original source. $\ce{CO2}$ was introduced (10 hours) through the pre-saturators and the saturator which contained about 120 g of solvent. The equilibrated sample (about 100 g) was transferred from the saturator into the weighed sampler which contained a weighed amount of standard $\ce{NaOH}$ solution. The sampler was weighed again and shaken to complete the reaction between $\ce{CO2}$ and $\ce{NaOH}$. The excess of $\ce{NaOH}$ and the $\ce{NaHCO3}$ was titrated potentiometrically with standard $\ce{HCl}$ solution. The mass of dissolved $\ce{CO2}$ was calculated from the equation: $$w = c_{\ce{HCl}}(V_{2} - V_{1})M$$ where $w$ = mass of dissolved $\ce{CO2}$, $c_{\ce{HCl}}$ = concentration of $\ce{HCl}$; $V_{1}$ and $V_{2}$ are volumes of the $\ce{HCl}$ solution to the first and second end point, respectively, and $M$ = molar mass of $\ce{CO2}$.
(The authors also report solubilities of $\ce{CO2}$ in 15 mass % glucose/$\ce{H2O}$ and in $\ce{NaCl}$ + 15 mass % glucose/$\ce{H2O}$.)

Sample Information:
  1. Purity of $\ce{CO2}$ 99.95%.
  2. Double deionized. Conductivity of $\ce{H2O}$ was $\pu{\lt 1.5E-4 S m-1}$.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: δT/K = ±0.02
When fitting the data to the equation 1g S1 = A/T + B + CT, the standard deviation was σ = 0.02. (Table 2.)

Experimental Data

The experimental solubilities from Table 1 were fitted to an equation
lg S1 = A/T + B + CT (1)
The coefficients of eq. (1) and the standard deviation in lg S1 are listed in Table 2.
