The method and apparatus used are described in [1] with two minor modifications: the mercury sealing cup was eliminated in the new version and the gas was presaturated with water vapor.
Source and Purity of Materials:
- Research grade Matheson Co. Minimum purity 99.7%.
- Redistilled from all glass still. Degassed.
