Conditions:

Room Temp: 288 - 333 $\pu{K}$
Concentration

Compiler:

Methodology:

The dynamic method was used for the determination of solubility. It involved the saturation of nitrogen with terachloromethane vapor which was then bubbled through a thermostatically controlled flask filled with a definite volume of the aqueous solution. After 2 - 3 hours the solution became saturated and samples were taken periodically [1]. The concentration of tetrachloromethane in the aqueous solution was determined by gas chromatography. On average 3 - 5 measurements were taken at each temperature.

Sample Information:
  1. Source and purity not given.
  2. Source and purity not given.
  3. Distilled (compiler)
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±0.05 K.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): ±15%.
