Conditions:

Room Temp: 288 - 333 $\pu{K}$
HCl

Compiler:

A.L. Horvath

Methodology:

The dynamic method was used for the determination of the solubility. It consisted of the saturation of nitrogen with dichloromethane vapor which was then bubbled through a thermostatically controlled flask filled with a definite volume of solution. After 2-3 hours the solution became saturated and samples were taken periodically [1]. The concentration of dichloromethane in the solution was determined by GLC. On average, 3 - 5 measurements were taken at each temperature.

Sample Information:
  1. Source and purity not given.
  2. Source and purity not given.
  3. Distilled (compiler).
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±0.05 K.
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): ±15%.
