Conditions:
Room Temp: 298 $\pu{K}$

Methodology:
The equilibrium was ensured by repeated shaking and centrifuging of a tribromomethane and water mixture in a stoppered Goetz tube and returning it to a constant temperature water bath. The difference between the total amount of tribromomethane which was added and the amount remaining in excess was taken as the amount of tribromomethane dissolved in the known volume of water. The determination of the excess amount of tribromomethane added is described by Hamslick [1].
Sample Information:
- Source not given. Commercial reagent, C.P. grade, used as received.
- distilled.
Measurement Errors:
Ambient temperature: ±1 K (compiler).
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): < 100%.
