Volume 60. Halogenated Methanes with Water, p None

Original Measurements

Zeininger, H.; Hoechst A. G.; Internat Report, 1975.

Variables:

Room Temp: 273 - 313 $\pu{K}$

Prepared by:

A.L. Horvath

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

The organic compound was condensed into a degassed liquid water sample up to saturation at which two phases appeared. After shaking the mixture for several hours, equilibrium was achieved and the respective phases were analysed in a gas chro-matograph. The original report is not obtainable; therefore, the details were taken from Junge [1].

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Source and purity not given.
  2. Distilled (compiler).
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±1 K (compiler).
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): Not specified.
