Author reports formation of a 1:1 pyrene - 2,4,6-trinitromethylbenzene orange molecular compound having a melting point temperature of 437.7 K. Two eutectic points occur at x1 = 0.048 and T/K = 348.2, and at x1 = 0.812 and T/K = 399.2.
