Original Measurements

Ruelle, P.; Sarraf, E.; Kesselring, U. W.; Int. J. Pharm. 1994, 104, 125-133.

Variables:

Room Temp: 298 $\pu{K}$

Prepared by:

W.E. Acree, Jr.

Method/Apparatus/Procedure:

Constant temperature bath, thermometer, and an ultraviolet/visible spectrophotometer. Excess solute and solvent placed in amber glass bottles and allowed to equilibrate at constant temperature. Concentrations determined spectrophotometrically at 292 nm.

Source and Purity of Materials:
  1. Purity and chemical source not given in paper.
  2. Purity and chemical source not given in paper.
Estimated Errors:

Ambient temperature: T/K: ±0.2 (compiler).
Mole fraction - Liquid (1): x1: ±3% (relative error, compiler).
