Compilers:

Z. Maczynska, A. Maczynski

Methodology:

Weighed amounts of both components were placed in glass tubes, 40 mm across and 65 mm long, and shaken. Clear and cloud points were observed 5-6 times to within 0.2-0.3 °C.

Sample Information:
  1. Source unspecified; distilled; no turbidity if cooled to -10 or -20°C.
  2. Twice distilled.
Measurement Errors:

Ambient temperature: ±0.3°C
Mass concentration (m/v) (1): not specified

System Components:
  1. Ethylbenzene, $\ce{ C8H10 }$; [100-41-4] NIST WebBook
  2. Water, $\ce{ H2O }$; [7732-18-5] NIST WebBook
