  <title>Solubility of Acenaphthene in Seawater</title>
 </dataset>
 <keywords>Solubility, Solubility data series</keywords>
 <method>Saturated solutions was prepared by equilibrating seawater with an excess of hydrocarbon for 24 hrs in a constant temperature gyrotary shaker followed by 12 hr stationary period. A 100 mL-aliquot was extracted three times with n-hexane. The concentrated hexane extract was analyzed by a gas chromatograph equipped with a flame ionization detector to determine the hydrocarbon concentration.</method>
