<method>A saturated aqueous solution was prepared by passing of water through a column which was packed with glass beads coated with 3-bromo-1-propene. The saturated solution was then pumped through an extractor column and 3-bromo-1-propylene was extracted directly into an analytical column. The samples were analyzed with a liquid chromatograph equipped with both an UV absorbance and a fluorescence detector with excitation filters. The peak area was established using a Hewlett-Packard recorder.</method>
