<method>Equal quantities of diphenylthiocarbazone were added to aqueous solutions with different amounts of tetrachloromethane in several flasks. The contents of the flasks were shaken for 5 minutes and left to stand for 1 hour. The mixtures were then filtered through a paper filter and then concentration measurements were made by spectrophotometry. The turning point on the graph of optical density versus tetrachloromethane concentration was taken as the measurement.</method>
