<method>The saturation of tetrachloromethane with water occurred in a closed system, protected from atmospheric moisture; the saturating vessel was placed in a constant temperature water bath. The concentration of water in tetrachloromethane was measured using the Karl Fischer titration method with a 'dead stop' end-point determination [1]. Fifteen observations were made at each temperature.</method>
