<method>A differential static cell equilibrium apparatus was used to measure the infinite dilution activity coefficient of dichloromethane ($\gamma^{\infty}$) in water. Cells containing degassed water were submerged in a thermostated water bath. Dichloromethane was injected into the mixture cells and a magnetic stirrer was turned on. The cells were allowed to equilibrate. The stirrer was then turned off and the differential pressure was recorded. The experiment was repeated at least three times at each temperature.</method>
