<method>The solubility determination was carried out in small test tubes (e. g., 100 x 12 mm) to permit vigorous shaking of dichloromethane and water mixtures. During the experiment 0.20 mL dichloromethane was added to 3.0 mL of water andshaked. The amount of dichloromethane dissolved in water was analyzed by passing the samples through a chromatographic column.</method>
