<method>A saturated aqueous solution was prepared by passing water through a column which was packed with glass beads coated with bromochloromethane. The saturated solution was then pumped through an extractor column and bromochloromethane was extracted into an analytical column. The samples were analyzed with a liquid chromatograph equipped with both an UV absorbance and a fluorescent detector with excitation filters. The peak area was established using a Hewlett-Packard integrator.</method>
