<method>A differential static cell equilibrium apparatus was used to measure the infinite dilution activity coefficient of trichloroethene in water. Cells containing degassed water were submerged in a thermostat water bath. Trichloroethene was injected into the mixture cells and a magnetic stirrer was turned on. Then, the cells were allowed to equilibrate. Later, the stirrer was turned off and the differential pressure was recorded. The experiment was repeated at least three timesat each temperature</method>
